Journal Content Pages (JCP)

This service is built on Really Simple Syndication (RSS). Many journals provide content pages of new issues through RSS feeds comprising of metadata like author, title, volume number, issue number and abstract. For example, If the university is subscribing to 100 journals in a subject, the JCP service checks everyday all the 100 journal sites to see whether a new issue is released. If it finds one, it collects all the publications’ metadata and posts them on the main page.

Caveat: Some journals may not offer RSS feeds.
