IMAGING AND CLINICAL FEATURES OF PULSATILE POLYPOIDAL CHOROIDAL VASCULOPATHY
To investigate the imaging and clinical features of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) with pulsation.
Methods:
The PCV eyes were classified into pulsatile and nonpulsatile PCV groups according to the pulsation on indocyanine green angiography. Imaging features including the dye filling time of the polyp and clinical features were compared.
Results:
A total of 75 eyes were classified into the pulsatile PCV (30 eyes) and the nonpulsatile PCV (45 eyes) groups. RETINAL VEIN OCCLUSIONS BEFORE AND DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: Visual Outcomes and Treatment Patterns in a Country with no Mandatory Lockdown
To investigate the incidence, treatment patterns, and visual outcomes in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (RVO) and central RVO before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in a country with no mandatory lockdown.
Methods:
This retrospective study included 788 patients presenting with a RVO during the years 2019 to 2022 at St. Erik Eye Hospital. The control group and study groups consisted of patients presenting before and during the pandemic, respectively.

ASSOCIATION OF MACULAR STRUCTURE WITH MICROPERIMETRY SENSITIVITY FOLLOWING VITRECTOMY FOR PROLIFERATE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY
To evaluate macular sensitivity using microperimetry in patients with proliferate diabetic retinopathy following vitrectomy and to investigate the relationship between the sensitivity and foveal microstructures with optical coherence tomography/angiography.
Methods:
Eighty-four eyes of 84 patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy, who were indicated for vitrectomy, had no intraocular surgery history 3 months preoperatively, and were able to ensure fundus examination after the vitrectomy, were included. A logMAR best-corrected visual acuity, macular sensitivity of microperimetry, macular retinal thickness, and macular vessel perfusion using optical coherence tomography/angiography were examined at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months postoperatively.
Results:
The logMAR best-corrected visual acuity and mean macular sensitivity of patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy improved postoperatively (P 0.05).
Conclusion:
Postoperative mean macular sensitivity was significantly correlated with outer retinal thickness and deep capillary plexus perfusion for patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The authors found that the visual performance of patients can be evaluated by the outer retinal thickness and deep capillary plexus perfusion, so optical coherence tomography/angiography examination can be an important prognostic factor for visual performance in patients.
